About Prospect
What is Prospect?
Prospect is where you build lists. It's your workspace for exploring and filtering Orbital's directory of companies, locations, and people — then saving the results into your Universe for outreach and tracking.
Think of it as your starting point: find the right companies, enrich them, save them.
What You Can Search
Prospect works across three record types:
Companies
Locations
People
You can switch between them using the tabs at the top of the Prospect view.
Types of Views
Default view — When you open Prospect, you land on your personal default search for that record type. It remembers your last filters and columns automatically.
Saved filters — You can name and save any filter configuration to come back to later. Saved filters appear in the sidebar and have their own URL you can bookmark or share with teammates.
TAM-scoped view — When you open a TAM from the sidebar, Prospect loads a view filtered to that TAM's definition. This view always reflects the TAM as its source of truth — you can explore within it, but edits here don't change the TAM itself.
Agent Columns
You can add enrichment columns to your Prospect table that run automatically against your results — for example, using Ask Orb to answer a custom question about each company. These columns run per-cell and the results flow through to Universe when you save.
